I'm not sure if there is a way to separate the basic elements of what makes Diablo enjoyable from the mechanics of free to play monetization. If there exists, Blizzard and Diablo 4 Gold NetEase have not yet found it. They've created a mobile version of Diablo that's smooth and enjoyable. It's even very generous initially. If you're spending enough time with it you'll realize that the essence of Diablo has been cut out, cut up, and then sold to you piecemeal.

Diablo Immortal is not nearly as bad as a free-to-play Diablo could have been. The game is a constant assault on your turn , with a variety of microtransactions, but they are all in unfathomable currencies. You'll have to grind to win especially if you decide not to make a purchase in the game. Your reward for all this is a less than perfect duplicated version of Diablo II's story.

In spite of its flaws, I liked Diablo Immortal more than I disliked it. It still has all the aspects that make the series enjoyable, from its action-packed gameplay, to its endless customization of characters and its strong feeling of setting, as well as its ever-growing collection of exciting loot. In fact, Diablo Immortal even has several clever gameplay twists that I'm hoping Blizzard will keep in place when they release Diablo IV.

If you were concerned that F2P mechanics would undercut Diablo Immortal If so, then your concerns were justifiable. However, if your hope was that Blizzard could provide a solid mobile spinoff in order to fill the gap between the next major entry in the series, then you didn't hope in vain. The game's control scheme is slightly different depending upon whether you play mobile or PC, but the basic concept is the same. You'll start a quest in the town, go out into the wilderness, click or tap incessantly to battle enemies, and occasionally trigger special abilities, or sipping a healing potion. The combat may not be that intense however, it's a lot of fun and buy Diablo 4 Gold requires some tactical thinking, particularly when you're besieged by the demonic hordes, and you have to manage special abilities' cooldowns as well as a small potion stash.
