Over a month after teasing “main updates” coming to Rocket League, game developers Psyonix have introduced Rocket League Items that their award-triumphing “soccar” title will quickly be free for everyone to play.

The game’s unfastened re-release will mark its release on the Epic Games Store and simultaneous elimination from the Steam shop later this summer. Players have long speculated that Rocket League becomes loose-to-play to reinforce its boom, especially after Epic Games, creator of unfastened-to-play giant Fortnite, received the sport’s studio.
