It's unlikely that I'll commit to being an official clan member in OSRS Items RS. I'm thinking of Guild Wars 2 as my primary game. I'd enjoy being able to just join one side of an clan for a few wars and then leave, but I'm not sure if that's possible.

This thread was started by me to find ways that an individual can have fun and not be in a clan. This is quite absurd in reality, as the MMO- tag implies you have to have others to have enjoyment however I'm not sure. I can remember going through the streets as a novice and marveling at how large the world of RS was, but the magic's definitely gone.

We're all over the stage of being able grind for hours in one skill, like many gamers. Skills that are mastered are enjoyable if you value that however I became bored of levelling after I hit 106. A +1 on the level is just too to work for.

It may be unwise to go back as a nostalgic player. The typical response is "If you don’t enjoy the game, take a different game that you like, and play it." It's fine. However, I thought it would be a bad idea to come here and asked for some suggestions: maybe I'll be able to have a blast in the end.

Additional info The last thing I want to say is that I don't anticipate to get mems any time in the near future. I am very poor (1k) having bought the 3 sets rare armor. However, I love to wear it because it gives me reason to be proud. Str is at 95. Range was 60+ and Magic 72. Excellent amount of food I bought for Buy RuneScape Gold clan wars (mostly Tuna but also a lot uncooked Lobs), Explorers Ring 4, with the option of free food and so forth.
