OSRS feels much more like the runescape I enjoy playing than RS3. I was max half way to 120 thieving, and I made the conscience decision that I had rather re-max every ability from level 1 in OSRS gold than play RS3 and grind 1 more 99. I transferred from RS3 to OSRS for reasons. But one difficulty I've had with games/communities is this idea that everyone wants to max or that maxing is somehow"the stage" of Runescape. Coming out of a Dungeons and Dragons history (which much of early RS was very much predicated on) I have never had a campaign where our party made it beyond level 10.

Even with like 3 decades of playing with the exact same character. Building a character and fleshing them out durning the levels is rewarding and the impossibility of attaining the top echelons makes the world seem unbelievable and vast. I made so many characters back into pre-eoc since I really embraced the facet of this MMORPG. I possess a theme for the personality or would set myself challenges. Tons of replay value. Sure, after two decades there must be a lot of end game content.

But it feels like that is all of the community is focused on. My main account is really a f2p in RS3 with a few 99s and a few more not away. I quit Runescape for a span of approximately five decades and returned October. Pretty much everyone I knew has maxed and is now only grinding out virtual 120s/200m. Or maxing again on another/Ironman account. I'm really near my goals of getting Magic, Prayer, and 99 Defence, along with my buddy who has maxed in f2p requested me that skill I went to work on next. I had been like. There will not be a next. I'm getting these 99s because I enjoy them because they were youth dreams of mine. But I really don't put any value in maxing.

I'm not going to do something that I despise like angling or Woodcutting for hours just to see the numbers go up. I mean, I might, if I had been a child with all the time on earth. But in my life I need a little more from my precious time. I want something rather than afkable. So I made an ultimate Ironman and moved to OSRS. And I have put limitations and myself added thematic challenges. And while I could finally do the same thing in RS3, I discover that the gear system of buy RS gold makes account builds more rewarding to perform with. And also the community (especially YouTube content creators) is way more enthusiastic concerning this type of game playwith.
